The go-to public viewing corridor west of Lompoc, a few miles from SLC-4E. Ocean Avenue (Highway 246) toward Surf Beach offers pullouts with pad views.

Harris Grade Road overlook

An elevated viewpoint north of Lompoc popular for night launches — bring layers, the marine fog is real.

Santa Barbara & Ventura coastline

For night launches you don’t need to be close: the ascent is visible along much of the Southern California coast, sometimes as far as San Diego.
